EOD Protective Search Suit

Overview

The Phoenix S search suit protects the wearer in case of close-proximity explosive detonation. It is lightweight yet highly protective, easy to put on, and comfortable for prolonged use. With minimal restriction of movement, the suit protects the EOD agent from high-velocity fragments, overpressure and intense heat; it also functions as a first entry tactical suit.

The Phoenix S includes a hard armor ballistic insert plate, a ballistic helmet with face shield and a carry bag for transport and storage.

• Plate insert - Level III Spectra® or Level IV Ceramic
• Helmet - Level IIIA V-50 (9mm only) 2100 fps (640 m/s)
• Ballistic face shield - Level II V-50 1200 fps (365 m/s)
