blank canvas is always a daunting prospect. During
my life I have designed cabin cruisers, house extensions
and gardens - all prior to ever turning on a computer. |

UNDERSTANDING

My
career path has taken me in many directions, one of
which has been in the ladies clothing industry where
colour plays a very important part. One of my
hobbies is watercolour painting, something that has
resulted in me receiving a number of commissions. |

ABILITY
TO COMMUNICATE

A
good web designer needs to be able to communicate with
their client, and interpret what is wanted. I have
spent my life communicating with the public both in
listening to design needs and in sales. |

THIRST
FOR KNOWLEDGE

|
Building
a website for a someone else means that you have to be
adaptable to ideas.
It is essential that the web designer understands
something of the content of the site in order to
transpose it onto the web. As you can see by the
above information my life has taken me in many
directions and I am always interested and excited by new
horizons. |

BUILDING EXPERIENCE

Well
this one is obvious isn't it. But then it
would only be an idiot who called themselves a web
designer without having this, but so often this is the
only skill that is mentioned on a web builders own site. |
